Greycoat Stores Complete

The extensive transformation of Greycoat Stores in central Westminster is now complete, revitalising this former Army and Navy store warehouse into a vibrant mixed-use development.

We led the facade engineering for the project, combining new-build, retention, and renovation. The existing ground floor retail facade was renovated to feature a new double volume shopfront curtain wall, while upper levels include a new hung stick curtain wall, refurbished windows, and restored rendered brickwork.

A standout feature is the fully glazed mansard roof, a double-storey extension with insulated glass units, zinc standing seams, and semicircular rooflights, adding contemporary form while respecting the building’s heritage.

Congratulations to our project team, Hugh McGilveray and Claudia Brisolin, for their work on this complex transformation. We worked alongside SPPARC to realise their architectural ambitions.
