Alistair has been part of Eckersley O’Callaghan’s advanced engineering group since 2020, when he joined as a Graduate Engineer. He is involved in the detailed design of various steel and glass structures on projects around the world, where he is responsible for the creation and running of Finite Element Analysis models and he forms part of our digital design group.
He is passionate about sustainability within the built environment and is a core member of our glass research and development team. As part of his role he has made advancements in developing our understanding of glass life cycle analysis and glass circularity. At university, Alistair received an IStructE student prize for ‘Best Performance in Structural Design’ and promoted civil and structural engineering as a STEM ambassador.
