Initially joining under the role of Intern at Eckersley O’Callaghan’s Milan office, Luca completed his dissertation entitled ‘Oku Tower: Adaptive Building Skin for an Office Building in Tokyo Bay’, which he begun as an exchange student at Keio University in Japan. This research centered on devising an adaptive facade system aimed at enhancing the comfort of occupants within the building by incorporating a movable shading system.
Luca transitioned into the role of Graduate Engineer within Milan’s facades team, where he continues to apply his expertise in solar radiation and comfort studies, early-stage design assessments and facade detailing. Additionally, he actively contributes as a key member of the Digital Design Team.
