Project Engineer
Rafailia is a Project Engineer with a passion for complex geometry and an advanced knowledge of structural modelling. As a key member or Eckersley O’Callaghan’s Facades team, her skills in new material applications, parametric design and an awareness of risk mitigation and long-term sustainability have enabled her to develop some of our most challenging facade designs.
Rafailia has extensive experience working on a range of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across London.
Rafailia’s parametric and finite element analysis research into biodegradable implants in bone fractures has been published in the Journal of Functional Biomechanics. She is also a co-founder of the International Association of Civil Engineering Students in Thessaloniki.
